Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at Warren
Memorial Hospital
Warren Memorial Hospital provides outpatient physical,
occupational, and speech therapy services five days a week. The
therapists at Warren Memorial Hospital average 20 years of
clinical experience in a variety of clinical specialties to
serve area residents.
Beginning with a comprehensive evaluation, the therapists design
individualized treatment programs directed at decreasing pain,
increasing mobility and optimizing function.
Physical Therapy
Evaluation, Treatment, and education for:

Orthopedic injuries, strains, athletic injuries, back pain,
joint injuries, and foot orthotics

Neck and back injuries
-
Ulcers or wounds due to diabetes, trauma, or venous stasis
-
Workplace injuries
-
Balance disorders
-
Neurological impairments (stroke, paraplegia, brain injury)
-
Lower extremity prosthetic fit and use
-
Appropriate use of assistive devices for walking, transfers,
or bed mobility
-
Wheelchair seating and positioning needs
-
Arthritis
-
Osteoporosis
-
Chronic headaches, edema, pain
Occupational and Hand Therapy
Evaluation, treatment, and education for:

Upper extremity deficits due to orthopedic injuries,
specifically affecting the elbow, wrist and/or hand
-
Upper extremity deficits due to neurological injuries
-
Visual impairments due to low vision or neurological injury
-
Deficits in performing activities of daily living such as
bathing, dressing, cooking, etc.

Appropriate use of assistive equipment for self-care, work
and leisure
-
Cognitive/thinking skill problems
-
Wheelchair seating and positioning needs
Speech/Language Pathology
Evaluation and treatment for:

Speech, language, communication, cognitive and/or swallowing
deficits

Instruction with specialized communication system
-
Swallowing studies with appropriate diet recommendations
Will Insurance cover these services?
Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy services are covered
by commercial insurance, HMOs, PPOs, Medicare, Medicaid and
workers’ compensation. We verify your insurance benefits prior
to initiation of services.

You need an order from your physician for speech, occupational

Hours of Services
Physical Therapy available: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to
7:00pm
Speech Therapy available: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to
4:30pm
Occupational and Hand Therapy available: Monday through Friday:
8:00am to 4:30pm
