Medical Imaging Services at Warren Memorial Hospital
 
Diagnostic imaging services available at Warren Memorial Hospital include:
  • 16-slice CT scanning (computed tomography)
  • Ultrasound
  • Fluoroscopy and routine x-ray
  • Mammography with computer-aided detection for diagnosing breast cancer and/or abnormalities
  • Bone density scanning
  • Nuclear imaging for diagnosing bone and heart disease
  • Mobile MRI (magnetic resonance imaging)
  • Non-invasive cardiovascular testing
  • Mobile stereotactic (or x-ray guided) breast biopsy service 
The old Health Information Management (Medical Records) space on the first floor of the hospital has been transformed in an attractive area that is primarily being used as an expansion of the Radiology Department’s services. By August 2006, a second ultrasound, mammography unit and nuclear medicine camera will be on-line and ready to perform diagnostic studies.
