Medical Radiography Program | Nurse Aide Training

Medical Radiography Program (apply now!)
The Medical Radiography Program at Winchester Medical Center certificate program. Graduates are eligible to take the professional registry examination and upon satisfactory completion, become Registered Technologists in the field of Radiography.
 
The curriculum provides a correlated sequence of study and practice in Radiologic Technology.  Students receive instruction in care of patients in all states of illness throughout the radiology department. 
 
Candidates must be 18 years if age and have a high school diploma or equivalent and a strong mathematical background. 
 
 
 
Nursing Aid Training Program
Warren Memorial Hospital offers a four-to-six week nursing assistant training program throughout the year. The 120-hour course includes 70 hours of classroom training and 50 hours of clinical experience in a long-tern care facility. After successful completion of the program, participants are eligible to take the state certification exam.
 
The cost is $240 for the course and $60 for books. Participants may receive reimbursement for the course if hired by Valley Health at the conclusion of the program (and upon completion of the certification exam).
