What happens
during the test?Seven electrodes will be placed on
your chest and side. You will then
be hooked up to a machine that will provide your doctor with a
picture of the electronic impulse of your heart.
Will it hurt?
No. We might have to shave your chest for proper placement of
our patches.
What do I do to
prepare?There is no
preparation needed.How long will
it take?It will take between 15 to 20
minutes.What is the
reason for this test?
This test will enable your doctors to see what areas of your
heart, if any, are having problems. This will let the doctor
know the best way to treat your condition. This type of monitor
is worn for 24 hours. You will not be allowed to take the
monitor off for any reason.
