Lynn
Care Center offers compassionate long-term care for people
with chronic illnesses or disabilities who need assistance
meeting their personal needs. We also provide memory support
care and a secure, interactive wandering garden for people
with dementia.
For
many people, their first experience with our facility is
a short stay in the Skilled Nursing Unit for post-hospital
rehabilitation or skilled nursing care before returning
to their home. Our team can help patients recovering from
conditions such as:
- Stroke
- Amputation
- Arthritis
- Hip
fracture

or knee replacement
- Cardiac
disease
- Pulmonary

Restorative
Care Promotes Independence
Lynn
Care Center offers a variety of restorative nursing programs
to promote the resident's ability to adapt and adjust to
living as independently and safely as possible. Restorative
nursing programs include:
- A
Date to Dine, to maintain or improve the ability to
swallow, eat or feed onself
- Out
on the Town, to maintain or improve a resident's ability
to dress or groom
- Checks
and Balances, to maintain functional range of motion (ROM);
maintain or improve correct alignment of the body through
application of a splint and/or brace; maintain or improve
bed mobility or transfer abilities
- Gaining
Control, to maintain or improve a resident's bowel and
bladder management
- Memory
Lane, to maintain or improve a resident's ability to use
speech, language or other functional communication systems
- Walk
a Country, to maintain or improve ambulation (walking)
skills
- Walk
and Dine, for residents who are unable to ambulate independently
to and from the dining room
