Lynn Care Center has a brand new home (Summer 2002) at Warren
Memorial Hospital located in Front
Royal, Virginia nestled along the beautiful Shenandoah
River—a gateway to scenic Skyline Drive and the well-traveled
Appalachian Trail. Lynn Care Center benefits from the highly-skilled
and caring doctors and nurses of Warren Memorial Hospital
and offers residents a more home-like atmosphere.
Our
top priority is to offer quality care. We've adopted concepts
of the Eden Alternative™ to create a more home-like
setting focusing on residents' emotional and spiritual needs.
Three issues that seem to cause stress in the elder population
are boredom, loneliness, and hopelessness. We focus on combating
these issues to provide each long-term resident or short-term
patient with a comfortable, pleasant environment, varied
activities
and amenities, gardening, the companionship of animals,
the presence of children, community involvement, restorative
nursing care and therapies.
