Diagnosing
Heart Disease
Proper
diagnosis is critical in initiating appropriate
treatment for heart and vascular disease. Along with
highly skilled clinical and support staff, the Heart &
Vascular Center maintains state-of-the-art equipment and
makes constant improvements in technology, ensuring
availability of the most advanced tools needed for
patients and physicians.
More than just detecting
the presences of heart and vascular diseases, diagnostic
procedures help physicians determine the extent of
damage to the heart and circulatory system. Slight
variations in tissue loss or injury can make significant
differences in the course of intervention of treatment.
Non-invasive and invasive
procedures help physicians understand what is happening
with each patient, to begin the healing process, or
proceed with additional treatment options.
