the Presenters
Al Pilong
is Vice President of
Operations at Winchester Medical Center. He is
responsible for all of Valley Health's Centers of
Excellence including Heart & Vascular Services,
Orthopedics & Rehabilitation, Neurosciences, and
Medicine. He has been with Valley Health since
August, 2005 after spending the previous 13 years at
Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover, DE in various
clinical and management roles. He is a registered
pharmacist, has an MBA from Saint Joseph's
University, and is Board Certified in Healthcare
Management by the American College of Healthcare
Executives.
David Sisson, MD
is a practicing nephrologist with Winchester Medical
Consultants. His special interests include end-stage
renal disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders
and acid/base disorders. Dr. Sisson received his
medical degree from University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey at the New Jersey Medical
School. He is board certified in Internal Medicine
and Nephrology and is a member of the attending
medical staff at Winchester
Medical
Center.
Dr. James Rittelmeyer
is a cardiologist with Winchester
Cardiology and Internal Medicine. His special
interests include cardiac catheterization and
interventions, pacemakers and defibrillator therapy.
Dr. Rittelmeyer received
his medical degree from Georgetown University and is
a member of the medical staff at Winchester Medical
Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine,
Cardiovascular
Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
Lynne Bouffard, RN, CNP
is the Heart Failure Clinic Leader for Christiana
Care Health System in Newark, Delaware. Her primary
responsibilities include development and
implementation of inpatient and outpatient Heart
Failure Programs and the management of Christiana
Care’s
Heart Failure Clinic. She is a licensed Family Nurse
Practitioner from West Virginia University and
practiced with Selma Cardiology in Winchester for
six years. She is a
member of the Heart Failure Society of America,
American Association of Heart Failure Nursing and
the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Amy Tucker, MD
is the Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at
the University of Virginia Health System. She is
associated with the Division of Cardiovascular
Medicine at UVA and is board certified in Internal
Medicine. Dr. Tucker received her medical degree
from the University
of North Carolina and completed both her residency
and fellowship at the University of Virginia. Her
clinical interests include general cardiology and
adult congenital heart disease.
Dr. Preston Fox
is an interventional radiologist with Winchester
Radiologists, PC. He is board certified in
Diagnostic Radiology as well as Vascular and
Interventional Radiology. Dr. Fox received his
medical degree from the University of Virginia. His
special interests include carotid stenting,
peripheral vascular interventions and interventional
radiology.
Dr. David Epstein
is a vascular surgeon with Winchester Cardiothoracic
& Vascular Surgeons. His special interests include
endovascular surgery, lower extremity bypass,
carotid endarterectomy and stenting, aortic surgery
and varicose veins. Dr. Epstein received his medical
degree from The Ohio State University and he is
board certified in general and vascular surgery.
Dr. Andre Fredieu
is a neurologist with Winchester Neurological
Consultants. He specializes in stroke with special
interest in interventional neurology. He received
his medical degree from the University of California
Los Angeles and is a member of the medical staff at
Winchester Medical Center. Dr. Fredieu is board
certified in neurology.
Dr. Cullen Hardy
is a cardiologist with The Cardiovascular Group at
Selma in Winchester. His special interests include
echocardiology, stress and transesophogeal echo,
nuclear cardiology, pacemaker implantation and
therapy. Dr. Hardy received his medical degree from
the Tulane
University
School
of Medicine and is board certified in internal
medicine and cardiovascular disease.
Dr. James A Warner
is a practicing interventional cardiologist with
Winchester Cardiology and Internal Medicine. His
special interests include echocardiography, stress
echocardiography, cardiac catheterization,
preventative cardiology and cardiac rehab. He
received his doctorate in medicine from West
Virginia University. He is board certified in
internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is
the current Medical Director of Cardiovascular
Services at the Heart & Vascular Center at
Winchester Medical Center.
