Valley Health Child Care Center Fact Sheet
Employment with Valley Health makes you eligible to use our
Employee Child Care Center. We are located on the Amherst Street
Winchester Medical Center campus. The staff of our Child Care
Center makes it a priority to help your child feel secure and
happy, as well as stimulated, in our well-organized and
challenging environment. You can concentrate on job
responsibilities knowing that your child is close by, safe, and
having fun.
Below are a few facts about our Child Care Center. For more
information, you can contact Trena Fisher, Director of the
Center, at (540) 536-8815, or Sally Tomblin, Associate Director

accommodate the needs of each employee. However, the Center has

The daily program at our Child Care Center consists of
age-appropriate activities led by trained staff members
following a specified curriculum. Each day will include a
variety of activities for the growth and well-being of your
whole child. Planned experiences will encourage the development
of motor, social, language, quantitative, music, sensory, and
arts and crafts skills. All children are encouraged to
participate in teacher and self-initiated activities. The daily
schedule will satisfy your child’s basic needs for nourishment
